What is Creative Soccer Etc.?

Creative Soccer Etc. is an independently organized and professionally coached soccer skill training program designed for all age levels. While part of the emphasis is on having fun, the more important underlying goal is to enhance the individual skill level of every participating player.

Two boys playing soccerThis goal is accomplished by using specific foot drills and small-sided games in order to attain close ball control. Imagine the usual scenario: a large soccer field over 100 yards long, with 22 individual players fighting for the ball. How much would any individual player be in contact with the ball? It has been estimated that a player averages less than 3 minutes out of a 90-minute game. This is certainly not enough to improve their skills.  Similarly, many soccer practices involve waiting in line to take a shot or move the ball, and this provides the undesirable effect of "downtime" for the players.

Creative Soccer Etc. teaches players to use shielding moves, fakes and stepovers, turning moves, and combination plays in small-sided games.  If you are a parent coach, you are encouraged to use our program to enhance your existing practices. If you are a player trying out for a school, town, or club team, our clinics will prepare you to show them your best.

Our program is designed to raise the skill level of each individual player by giving him or her the ability to accurately control the ball, while at the same time, using creative techniques to move the ball forward. Each individual player will gain tremendous confidence in his or her play!
